Samantha Thavasa opens its first Dubai store

Japanese accessories brand Samantha Thavasa opened its first Middle-Eastern store, "Samantha Thavasa Robinsons Dubai," on May 17.

The 40-square-metre store is located on the first floor of the Robinsons department store inside  Dubai Festival City, a supersized shopping mall operated by one of the UAE's largest business conglomerates, Al-Futtaim.

The Samantha Thavasa Group has priotised international development as a key business strategy since it was founded. As of February 2017, it operates 35 stores outside of Japan: 6 in Hong Kong, 5 in China, 20 in South Korea, 3 in Singapore, and one in Hawaii. From this spring, the group will be continuing its global expansion through the recruitment of 5 global influencers.
