Rag & Bone to open first Australia store

Published

New York cult label Rag & Bone is set to land in Australia this month, premiering its first standalone boutique in Melbourne in late March.

Rag & Bone campaign featuring Haley Bennet - Rag & Bone

Known for its premium cotton t-shirts and cool jeans, Rag & Bone is setting up shop in Melbourne's The Strand Arcade, which also plays home to fellow internationals Cos, Neuw Denim and Acne Studios, among others.

Covering 130 square metres, the upcoming store sits on the corner of Little Bourke and Elizabeth Streets. The space was previously helmed by local fashion label Fat, which went into administration 12 months ago.

Rag & Bone is currently stocked locally via its Australian licensee Incu, a fashion and lifestyle business run by Sydney-based twin brothers Brian and Vincent Wu. Incu is also the business assisting Rag & Bone set up shop in Melbourne.

Founded in 2002 by Marcus Wainright and Nathan Bogle, Rag & Bone is now a fully fledged women's and men's fashion label. It boasts around 30 stores domestically and globally.
