R.M. Williams, the Australian boot brand, has announced the opening of its third store in London.

Located in the trendy Soho area, the 60 sq mt store introduces the artisanal essence of the brand while paying home to the neighbourhood. This approach sees the space feature new bespoke fixtures and fittings, while the original shop front door and windows are preserved.

Other design elements include recycled wood grain materials; a neutral colour palette of grey, taupe and aged green accents; and a series of classic Australian portraits.

The store offers men’s and women’s boots as well as a curated selection of men’s clothing and leather accessories. The brand’s urban Gardner and Classic Turnout styles are available alongside the men’s Craftsman and women’s Adelaide boots. There is also a selection of R.M. Williams boots that have been specially crafted for the Northern Hemisphere climate.

The London shop also offers a bespoke service, providing customers with customisation options across size and fit, leather and skin, elastic, thread, soles and a personalised message.

“We are proud of our unique craftsmanship and Australian heritage, making our move in to the creative hub of London a natural fit. R.M. Williams purpose-built product is perfect for the Northern Hemisphere in both style and function, and we are confident that Soho residents will resonate with our dedication to quality and comfort,” said R.M. Williams CEO, Raju Vuppalapati.

Heritage is an important word for the Australia brand, which has been producing high quality leather boots since 1932. New this season is the Burnish collection, which features a new, hand-applied finish that makes each boot have a unique character. R.M. Williams worked with Duilio Girotti, an Italian craftsman and burnishing expert, to create the new collection.
