OPI names Kerry Washington its new Creative Ambassador

OPI Products Inc. on Friday announced a collaboration with Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress Kerry Washington, who will serve as the brand’s first ever Creative Ambassador.

A native of the Bronx, New York, Washington will be responsible for co-curating nail lacquer shades and developing shade names with Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, the co-founder and brand ambassador of OPI. She will also source information and consult on various aspects of creative for the company.
 
Weiss-Fischmann and Washington have worked together for months to develop the new role since they first discussed the idea of working together in spring 2015. Not only is Washington a fan of OPI, but Weiss-Fischmann is also a fan of the show ‘Scandal,’ which Washington stars in.

OPI, a division of Coty, is available in over 100 countries and offers a full line of professional items, including nail treatments, finishing products, lotions, manicure/pedicure products, files, tools and acrylics.
