Munich Fabric Start, which runs from August 30 to September 1, 2016, will for the first time see over 1,000 suppliers and more than 1,700 collections displayed at the show for fabrics.

These exhibitors from 37 countries will present the latest fabrics and trends for A/W 2017-1018 for womenwear, menswear, denim and sportswear.

To fit in the higher number of exhibitors, the organisers have added two halls, which meant an additional space of 2,500 sq. metres and a total exhibition space of 42,500 sq. metres.

"Against the backdrop of these complementing segments, Munich Fabric Start confirms its position as an interactive communication platform,” Sebastian Klinder, Managing Director at Munich Fabric Start said.

With Keyhouse and Catalyzer, we have made an unambiguous statement with a future-proof trade fair format for a high-octane market yearning for new concepts,” he added.

The collections are complemented by companies from the Far East at the Asia Salon and the impulse-generating Design Studios, showcasing proprietary prints as well as creative design solutions.
