The bowling-inspired menswear capsule collection designed by Prada in collaboration with Mr Porter has launched on the luxury men’s fashion destination this Wednesday.

The collaboration, rooted in bowling nostalgia, marks the first time Prada works with an exclusive online menswear retail partner, and is an integral part of its digital transformation.

With prices ranging from £260 ($370) to £2,320 ($3,540), the collection features 1950s and 1980s styles including camp-collar shirts in Hawaiian prints and gingham checks, block-panelled stripe cardigans and knit t-shirts.

The extensive 32-piece range also includes blouson jackets in satin and suede, pleated and flat-front trousers and a bi-colour wool and mohair blend blazer. Classic footwear styles like loafers, creeper and cap-toe Derbies and cap-toe sneakers complete the retro-style offering.

A bowling event will be held in New York City on Thursday to celebrate the launch, alongside an integrated global marketing and content campaign that will culminate with a Mr Porter x Prada story with video in The Journal.

The brands are running the campaign across their social media, email, website and app platforms.
