Magic, Capsule and Liberty Fairs wrap up men's market in Las Vegas

Published
Feb 20, 2017

Magic, Capsule and Liberty Fairs begin this week for men’s market week in Las Vegas. The three shows bring their new activations and features to Las Vegas after debuting them in New York City in January.

Project Mens will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from February 21-23

Poli-Sci returns to Capsule with participating brands Rochambeau, Assembly New York, Albertus Swanepoel, Rhude and Mr. Completely among others, and the High Snobiety Under the Radar showcase brings brands The Incorporated, Manta-Ops, Used Future and Sisyphe to the west coast.

Capsule is debuting a new Off Safety photo exhibition in Las Vegas as well, featuring never-before released photos of iconic hip-hop figures of the late 90s and early 2000s.

Liberty Fairs’ Art for Africa initiative is at the Las Vegas show featuring Levi’s and Schott NYC pieces customized by artists Mike Falcon, Nick Aguayo, Nicholas Farhi Shun Sudo and others.

Returning features Freedom Hall and The Studios are joined by a new Alt Terrain activation that showcases active and outdoor lifestyle brands. Liberty partnered with Gear Patrol Magazine to create the new feature that highlights brands such as Columbia, Arc’teryx Veilance, Aztech Mountain, Snow Peak and S’Well among others.

Finally, Magic shows Project Mens, The Tents, The Collective and Pooltradeshow are at Mandalay Bay hosting seminars and live fashion presentations. The trade shows will host a series of seminars dedicated to the current retail climate and menswear. CFDA member and creative director Luis Fernandez will lead The P1V0T Sessions: Maker Movement discussion about the impact of advances in technology on fashion design and production.

Project will also hold 45-minute presentations for brands Nautica and Barbour and for a Made in Italy showcase. Nautica and Barbour will showcase their respective fall 2017 collections at the main entrance of the show.

Capsule and Liberty Fairs are at the Sands Expo Center in the Venetian until February 22 and Magic will be at Mandalay Bay from January 21-23.
