The Maison du Danemark (Denmark House) in Paris will host an exhibition by Danish designer Henrik Vibskov from 12th May to 16th July. Vibskov, 45, is a graduate of London's Central Saint Martins school, and has more than thirty men's and women's collections to his name. He is a member of France's menswear fashion union and the only Scandinavian designer featured at the Paris Fashion Week since 2003. The exhibition has been conceived as a full immersion into his creative world.

Spring/Summer 2017 collection

Henrik Vibskov is renowned for his whimsical, imaginative catwalk shows, inspired by his passion for art, dance and theatre as well as fashion. This year he has designed costumes for the Norwegian National Ballet's production of 'Swan Lake'. At Denmark House, Vibskov will exhibit an array of his 'organic' sculptures, alongside video installations, excerpts from his catwalk sets, pictures and fashion creations.

Among them, items from the S/S 2017 collection surrounded by dozens of breast sculptures, those of the A/W 2016 collection displayed with a set of tribal pictures, some gigantic 3D items from the A/W 2014 collection and a selection of 'mask dresses' from the summer 2015 one.

Henrik Vibskov exhibited at PS1-MoMA in New York, at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, at Washington's Textile Museum and at other venues in Rotterdam, Kyoto, Milan and Helsinki, and this is not the first time he will be on show in Paris. He was invited to exhibit in 2013 at the Tokyo Palace and at the Galeries Lafayette department store, as part of the 'Neck Plus Ultra' exhibition.
