After making his last tour in Moscow in October 2009, Giorgio Armani is returning to the Russian capital for a new charm offensive.

In the last few years, luxury goods sales have significantly slowed down in the region due to the economic crisis, but the Italian fashion label is willing to believe in the recovery of this market, where its first store was opened back in 2001.

The Milanese designer will be in Moscow from Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th April, "for a series of events celebrating the Armani group's presence in Russia," the label has stated in a press release.

The programme will feature the presentation of the book 'Giorgio Armani', the designer's biography published last year for the label's 40th anniversary, and that of the men's and women's Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 collections, with a show to be held at the Giorgio Armani store in Tretyakovsky Proezd Gallery.

The group currently operates 86 shops in Russia, with 7 Giorgio Armani stores, 9 Emporio Armani stores, 18 Armani Collezioni stores, 30 AJ | Armani Jeans stores, 20 Armani Junior and 2 Armani Exchange stores.
