The American retailer has revamped its footwear offer with a new line of upmarket leather shoes, currently on sale in Los Angeles and online in the United States, and hitting other US and international locations later this month.
Womenswear retailer Forever 21 has expanded shoe options with 10 new styles of premium footwear. The Los Angeles-based fast fashion firm, which has 630 stores in the United States as well as international outposts in another 33 countries around the globe (including Malaysia), had previously sold shoes under the US$40 mark.
“We are very pleased to be offering this line of premium leather shoes to satisfy the growing demands of our biggest fans”, said Forever 21 general merchandise manager Linda Chang.
There will also be new models sooner rather than later, “given the fast pace of fashion – and consequently consumer demands – we plan to expand the category in 2014”, she told WWD.
The shoes, which range in price from US$49 to US$79, feature cutouts, buckles, metal detailing and metallic colours.
Available online and in the brand’s Los Angeles stores since the beginning of the month, the collection is set to roll out in the rest of the US stores by Jan 10.
The shoes will hit Forever 21’s international stores and online on Jan 17.
