CIFF takes Scandinavian fashion to Shanghai’s DFO showroom

Published
May 16, 2016

Danish tradeshow CIFF collaborated with DFO, the largest fashion management and market development group in China and Southeast Asia, to host a space at its AW16/17 showroom in Shanghai.

Four Scandinavian brands were showcased at the biannual event, the largest of its kind during Shanghai Fashion Week. Participating labels including Birgitte Herskind, Twist & Tango, Modström and Beck Söndergaard benefitted from the private showroom’s popularity among Chinese and international buyers in the region and enjoyed a unique opportunity to gain access to this new market.

Furthering its commitment to up-and-coming designers, the event introduced this season a marketing gallery concept, allowing fresh brands to participate in the event without the investment of a full sales strategy.

CIFF and DFO plan to continue their collaboration for coming seasons, helping promote Scandinavian talent across Asia.
