Bond No. 9 pays homage to its own neighborhood with latest fragrance

US fragrance house Bond No. 9 is launching a new scent honoring New York City's up-and-coming NoHo neighborhood.

The fragrance, which is dubbed 'New Bond St.', is set to make its debut in September. It's described by the brand as a "multi-sexual gourmand oriental scent" that nods to the revamped Bond Street area's newfound popularity amongst "millennial supermodels, iconic movie stars, politicos and business tycoons."

The street also happens to be the site of the brand's own HQ.

Featuring top notes of bergamot, pepper and dewy muguet, the perfume opens into notes of cocoa, coffee beans and creamy chestnut, before rounding off with elements of patchouli, vanilla, sandalwood and leatherwood. It comes packaged in a bold black and scarlet leopard-print bottle that bears the brand's logo in blingy gold relief.

The scent is the latest addition to Bond No. 9's extensive perfume portfolio, which it has been rapidly expanding ever since the house was founded in 2003. The brand, now a major player in the fragrance industry, has created over 60 women's, men's and unisex scents based on the different neighborhoods of its hometown of New York.

New Bond St. will launch on September 15 at Bond No. 9 New York Boutiques, Saks Fifth Avenue nationwide, select Bloomingdales stores, Harrods UK, Selfridges UK and on Bond No.9's webstore.
