Asos Magazine goes on sale online

Published

Asos has announced that the 100th issue of its quarterly publication is now available online for £1, giving people the option to get their hands on the magazine even if they are new to the brand.

Asos

However, the customers who already receive it as a loyalty reward will continue to get it for free, said the company.

Asos Magazine was first launched in 2007 as a free customer loyalty reward and has grown to become the UK’s highest circulation fashion title with a circulation of 453,287. Available also in France, Germany and the US, the publication complements Asos’ shopping platform with inspirational content, helping customers better understand the brand behind the clothes and providing a showcase for the season’s hottest pieces.

Over the years, Asos Magazine has featured an array of A-list celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift, Elle Fanning, Solange Knowles and John Boyega.

The 100th issue features four cover stars, including singer and Brit Award-winner Jorja Smith, UK rapper J Hus, Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, and Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse.

Francesca Babb, Editor-in-Chief, Asos Magazine, said, “We’re enormously proud of what has been achieved by the Asos magazine over the past 11 years. When the magazine launched 100 issues ago, social media was in its infancy and we were that rare place within Asos where content and fashion could live together.

“Since then, as platforms have developed and our own circulation has grown both in the UK and internationally, the magazine’s remit has changed to become one of pure inspiration. Now with our first-ever paid-for edition, those new to Asos can see for themselves what it’s all about.”

The announcement comes hot on the heels of Net-A-Porter launching Porter Digital, a new platform delivering editorial content every day. This move will see the luxury company invest more in its content creation with more content, original films and celebrity cover shoots to provide its customers with more sartorial inspiration.
