The company has been on a tear during the economic downturn, attracting teens on a budget who reject the higher prices of rivals such as Abercrombie & Fitch Co (ANF.N).
Net profit rose 44 percent to $96.6 million, or 99 cents per share, from $68.2 million, or 67 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue jumped 16 percent to $801.2 million from $690.0 million.
Aeropostale estimated first-quarter earnings of 39 cents to 40 cents. Full-year earnings should grow by about 15 percent, the company said.
Aeropostale shares rose 5 percent to $28.48 after closing up 2.4 percent at $27.05 on the New York Stock Exchange.
