Adore Me announces expansion into China

New York City-based disruptive lingerie startup Adore Me announced its expansion into the Chinese market on Tuesday. 


After seeing positive sales in the North American market, the brand anticipates this expansion will further boost the company's growth. - Via Adore Me


The brand's full range of bras, panties, lingerie, sleepwear, loungewear, and activewear will now be available in China. 

Adore Me reported growing revenue in the North American market from $1 million in 2012 to over $100 million in 2017, and the brand anticipates that the expansion to China will further boost the company's growth. 

"We've been experiencing a growing demand from Chinese shoppers, and we're excited to announce that our products will be available to them from now on," said Morgan Hermand-Waiche, Adore Me founder and CEO, in a release. "We're introducing innovation and affordable, fast-fashion intimates to even more women around the world."

Adore Me currently delivers to all states in the U.S., and will now sell its products to Chinese consumers through the interactive livestream platform and global shopping marketplace service, ShopShops.

The e-commerce lingerie company currently operates with 200 employees in the U.S. and Europe, and offers designer and fast-fashion intimates.

The company, which is ranked number 9 on Crain's Fast 50 list of fastest-growing companies in New York, cites urban millennials as its largest market demographic.
